Nautilus Covers

Founded in 1979, Nautilus Covers has grown to be one of the largest custom canvas manufacturer in Ventura County.

Connie Sedacca, the current owner, bought the business in 1991 from Liz Maul and got started at the little shop in the Channel Islands boatyard. She quickly outgrew the space and upgraded to a large shop backed up to the airport with a loft and high ceilings. 

Nautilus has now been in the same location since 1993 on West 5th Street, just east of Victoria and about halfway to Patterson with an easy pull through for trucks & trailers. 

We work in the marine industry with both commercial and pleasure craft.  We work with the aviation industry out of Camarillo, Oxnard and Point Mugu.  We also do work in the recreation arena and make protective covers for all types of expensive toys.  We also specialize in some domestic needs such as covers for custom BBQ islands and shade structures. 

Located near the Oxnard airport in Southern California, Nautilus Covers boasts a nearly 4000 sq.ft. shop accommodating most trailer-able boats for secure, in-house fitting as well as ample parking space directly adjacent to the shop. Our large sewing table allows us to create our larger jobs such as awnings and large boat covers using 50 yards or more of fabric.
